We will help you clear your land and show you how to farm it

WHO WE ARE

Our team members and their families are your friends and neighbors at Prosperity Farm in Frederiksted. We grow sugar cane for making delicious cane juice and rum made with sugar grown in our local soil rather than imported.

You might be wondering, why sugar cane?

We found it to be an excellent starter crop for aspiring farmers because it gets most of what it needs from our rich island soil. It also gives back to the environment. The strong roots prevent erosion; the crushed stalks mulch the soil; it reduces run off; and it replenishes the water table.

And with two famous rum distillers on St. Croix, there is a ready-made market for the grower and the land owner.

The choice is yours. Whatever it is, we are here to help you grow it.

If you choose sugar cane,. your plants will sprout in just 11 days and your land will contribute to a new artisanal rum whose ingredients are grown in Crucian soil.
